Nighttime work scheduled for bike/pedestrian trail

Nighttime lane restrictions will be in place this week for ongoing construction of the Idaho 41 Seltice Way to Mullan Avenue Bicycle/Pedestrian Trail in Post Falls.

The project started March 1.

The overnight restrictions began Tuesday and will be in place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the eastern-most northbound lane for completion of the following:

Tuesday, March 15 — Concrete removal, subgrade construction, and base rock placement for new curb and ramps.

Wednesday, March 16 — Construct concrete curb and ramps.

Thursday, March 17 — Construct concrete curb and ramps.

Wm Winkler, of Newman Lake, Wash., is the contractor on this $518,000 project.
