CARTOON: Joke is on U.S.

What makes the artist of Friday’s editorial cartoon think that Washington, D.C., is the target of an Iranian missile? The president is one of their biggest supporters in my opinion.

They will always go for: 1. a close target such as a ship; 2. a financial target; 3. Israel; 4. Any country that has recently ticked them off for anything at all; 5. a nearby country with oil fields from which the USA gets fuel (ally especially).

Our political leaders knew when designing and signing that treaty that Iran would not follow it. There were political cartoons essentially encouraging Iran to not follow it. We will reap what our politicians have sown.
