AMADOR: One great candidate

| March 13, 2016 9:00 PM

A couple of years ago, my wife Susan and I got new neighbors (not an uncommon event for us since we’ve moved seven times in our 50 years of marriage). This time it was different. We stayed where we were and a delightful young couple moved in next door. At the “neighborhood getting to know you party” we realized what a wonderful thing had just happened.

Paul and Julie Amador were the new neighbors and the rest of us wanted to know about their background. It turns out that they both are employed by the University of Idaho, both have their Ph.D.s and have strong credentials in education. Since then it has been absolutely wonderful getting to know them better over the metaphorical “back yard fence.”

Paul is a very bright young man with a charming personality and a down-to-earth common sense approach to life that is very refreshing in the troubled times we live. With young leaders like Paul coming along, the future could be very bright for us in our community and state and nation. Now Paul is running for House Seat 4b on the Republican ticket and I write this letter as an unconditional endorsement of his candidacy. I encourage us to vote in the May Primary election and send Paul Amador to Boise to represent our community.
