WRIGHT: A Qualchan coincidence

I read the March 6 article by my friend Syd Albright about Col. George Wright. This was especially interesting to me because I had just composed classical style music entitled Qualchan and my Qualchan CD was coincidentally just released and is available at EdwardsMusicSite.com.

The historical narrative on my Qualchan CD written by Coeur d’Alene Historian Robert Singletary was based on the events leading up to the demise of Qualchan at the hands of Col. George Wright.

My next step is that I have begun the process of outlining an opera entitled Qualchan based on my Qualchan Music CD. While there is some question about factual details it does appear that there is a lot of interest in the history of interactions between Americans and the original natives of this area.
