GAS: Numbers don't lie

Here’s some information vehicle owners and drivers should have regarding the price of gas and diesel at different locations in Kootenai County:

1. Hayden: Gas $1.56, Diesel $1.67

2. Ross Point 76: Gas $1.79, Diesel $1.88

3. Ross Point Chevron: Gas $1.79, Diesel $1.88

4. Highway 41 Express: Gas $1.79, Diesel $1.88

The difference between the Hayden station and the Ross Point/Highway 41 stations is 23 cents for gas and 21 cents for diesel. Might there be duplicity regarding these prices or might all three of the higher priced locations be owned by the same person and the prices are set so they all match up? Why would anyone choose to pay 23 or 21 cents more when they could drive about 8 to 10 miles and help out their pocketbook?

Think about how much you are spending on a monthly basis and drive accordingly.
