PF HOOPS: Thanks for support

| March 2, 2016 8:00 PM

I am the assistant boys’ basketball coach at Post Falls High School and the support we receive from our community is awesome. We have been lucky enough to play in the last seven state tournaments at Boise. Each year, our fan base traveled down to watch the game and has continued to grow. We have a great community; last year, we won the state title and the City of Post Falls welcomed us home with a parade with a tremendous turnout.

A few weeks ago, we played in Lewiston for the league title and we had an outstanding following of fans (one all the way from Mullan), former players, and even a few students. It means a lot to our players and coaches that people take time out of their busy schedules to come support us.

Last week, we played at Coeur d’Alene High School to qualify for the state play-in game at Grangeville. The support and crowd we had at this game was unreal. I want to thank all of the students, fans, and former players who came to this away game to make it feel like a rowdy home game. However, the support did not stop there. Saturday we played in Grangeville (200 miles from home) and again the turnout was incredible.

In closing, I want to thank the fans (especially that special fan Bud Koski who rarely misses a Post Falls game), former players, and student body, who continually support the Post Falls basketball team. Go Trojans!
