Curtis Allen 'Bud' Wells Sr., 78
Curtis Allen “Bud” Wells Sr., 78, of Athol, Idaho, passed away on Feb. 23, 2016, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Curtis was born in Tyler, Minn., to the late Ray and Evelyn (Gilbertson) Wells on April 7, 1937. He joined the Air Force in 1956 and worked as a Weapons Mechanic. Curtis was a self-employed Tile Contractor most of his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved the outdoors.
Curtis is survived by his son, Curtis “Allen” Wells Jr., (wife Melanie) of Spring, Texas; daughter Eve Kemp (fiancé Eric Butcher) of Spring; twin sister Carol Madison of Pacheco, Calif.; sisters Darlene Graham and Mary Lou Harlow also of California; grandchildren Nickolas Lashkoff, Lauren Lashkoff, Mallory Gonzalez, Philip Armentrout, Chelsea Wells, Curtis Wells III, Marcus DeProspero and Jenna Kemp; great-granddaughter Penelope Gonzalez; special niece Kimberly Madison and her daughters great-nieces, Tarin and Ashley; numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly, and angel Mike in Athol. He was preceded in death by sister Leona Glover and brother Donald Wells.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Life Care of Coeur d’Alene for their loving care and patience. A private family service will be held at a later date.
