STUDENTS: Cheers to them

| June 12, 2016 9:00 PM

I would like to take a moment to congratulate all SIX military academy appointees from our area. I say six because, I’m told through no fault of the Coeur d’Alene Press, the sixth student’s accomplishment failed to get reported earlier this week. It is an exciting time for our community during graduation season. These six students are to be commended for their hard work and determination.

Sarah Kladar is an amazing CHS graduate who set a goal for herself years ago to make it into the Naval Academy. She achieved her goal and was Congressman Raul Labrador’s principal nominee after a rigorous selection process. Ms. Kladar, as well as the other local appointees, have worked hard to reach their admirable goals. I want to personally wish Ms. Kladar and the other appointees the best of luck in this next chapter of life. Thank you for considering military service to our country. These are students we can be proud to say came from our area.
