Anthony's celebrates opening

Anthony’s at Coeur d’Alene, the newest restaurant in Riverstone, celebrated its grand opening Saturday by hosting a benefit for the North Idaho College Foundation.

The sold-out event raised $9,460 for the foundation, a nonprofit that the supports the college in its fundraising and endowment efforts on behalf of students.

Anthony’s president and founder, Budd Gould, was joined by family members JJ Gould, Amy Burns and Herb Gould as well as principal architect and senior partner at Miller Stauffer Architects, Monte Miller, and chair of the North Idaho College Board of Trustees, Ken Howard, in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Anthony’s at Coeur d’Alene features fresh, local produce and seafood from Anthony’s own Seafood Company. It also features local wineries and craft breweries along with locally made ciders. The restaurant seats 150 people indoors and has a 4,200-square-foot, partially covered exterior patio. An open display kitchen flanks the dining room. The dining areas have access to the exterior decks and views of Riverstone Pond. Anthony’s at Coeur d’Alene opened to the public for dinner service at 5 p.m. Monday.
