<p>Courtesy photo</p><p>Team Real Life wrestlers traveled to Idaho Falls for the Idaho State Greco-Roman championships on May 6 and the Idaho State Freestyle championships on May 7th. Team Real Life had two Triple Crown winners this year. A Triple Crown winner is a wrestler who wins all three wrestling styles in a given wrestling season (folkstyle, Greco-Roman and freestyle). This year’s Team Real Life Triple Crown winners are Ridge Lovett and Byson Huber. Ridge and Byson, having won at the state folkstyle tournament in the winter in Twin Falls, completed their triple crowns by winning the final two legs in Idaho Falls. <p>Courtesy photo</p><p>The Titans, a high school team featuring players from North Idaho and eastern Washington, won the 13-team On Summer's Edge AAU basketball tournament last weekend at The Warehouse Athletic Facility in Spokane. The team went 4-0 with wins over Clutch (Portland), Northwest Christian (Colbert, Wash.), Alpha Athletics (Spokane) and Lewis and Clark (Spokane). Sting Valencia under-14 boys: The Sting took third place at the Idaho State Cup last weekend in Boise.

Friday the Sting beat FC Nova Black 2-1. Sting goals were scored by Drake Prohaska and McKie Gregory, with assists by Jacob Janzen.

On Saturday the Sting beat TF Rapids 2-0. Tyler Shaw scored both Sting goals, with an assist by Cameron Dance.

Sunday the Sting lost 3-1 to Idaho Rush Premier. The lone Sting goal was scored by Cameron Dance.

On Monday the Sting Valencia beat Arsenal United Pumas 6-0. Jacob Janzen and Josh Brisendine each scored twice for the Sting, and Tyler Shaw and Ben Blakely each scored once. Jacob Overoye and Josh Brisendine each had assists. Jacob Overoye was the Sting keeper all weekend.

Sting Premiere SC Boys 99-00 Ruchti: The Sting competed in the Idaho State Cup in Boise over Memorial Day weekend.

The Sting won their first game Friday night against PVSC United Chelsea 6-1. Diego Esquivel scored five goals for the Sting, Chance Mueller one.

The Sting also won their second game Saturday morning against Idaho Rush Nero 99/00 6-0, with Zack Nall in goal for the shutout. Nick Morris scored a hat trick for the Sting, and Baily Massender, Diego Esquivel, and Marco Rojo each had one goal.

The Sting lost 2-0 to the Idaho Rush Premier in their third game, which put them at second in their bracket going into the semifinals against Boise Nationals Arsenal. That game was 1-1 at the end of regulation, with Dakota Curtis scoring the Sting’s only goal. Boise won it on a penalty kick in double overtime.

LEGION BASEBALL

Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen 14U 9-5, East Valley 4-6: Dylan Brum had three hits, including a double, for the Lums (9-8, 1-1 league).
