Grill from Ipanema looks to future
Today is the last day for Grille From Ipanema after five years in the Parkside building at 601 Front Ave. The restaurant will be opening in mid-August in a 6,100-square-foot location at 2416 N. Old Mill Loop in Riverstone — right next to the new Sushi I restaurant.
Grill From Ipanema serves a distinctive experience of churrasco, or Brazilian barbecue, a traditional staple food of the cowboys of Southern Brazil, in a colorful, festive atmosphere.
Servers roam from table to table offering a variety of beef, pork and chicken on skewers from which they slice the meat onto patrons’ plates. The customers dish up their own salad and side dish items from an open bar.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Phone 676-1122.
Meanwhile, a Sweet Lou’s restaurant will move into the Parkside location in November. Checkwww.sweetlousidaho.com.
Domino’s Pizza to move, add store in Post Falls
Watch for Domino’s Pizza to relocate in late fall from its 112 E. Seltice Way location to the former Pizza Factory location at 3904 E. Mullan in Post Falls.

Starbucks coming to downtown Cd’A
The current Zip Stop convenience store and gas station at Sherman and Seventh Street will become a Starbucks Coffee with a dine-in and drive through. It’ll be a while as the building will need a complete remodel and the gas tanks removed.
Meanwhile, the Zip’s drive-in burger place next door has become a Burger Express.
Starbucks started in Seattle’s Pike Place Market in 1971 and has about 23,000 outlets in 66 countries.

- We spent the previous week “camping” with four trailers and 16 family members in Glacier Park. It was fantastic with scenery and critters. About half the people we saw spoke in foreign languages. We were pleased with all the boat-ride and bus options. Many people I know here have never been to Glacier Park despite how close and cool it is.
