WORKERS: Where are you?

Does anyone know why there aren’t more people willing to work in Coeur d’Alene. Granted, our company is asking for housekeeper/maids but we see Help Wanted signs all over town. We pay $9 and up which is good pay but still cannot even get applicants! Is the government at fault with all the unwed mother support and the food stamps and subsidized housing? Or is it just apathetic people who are content to use what money they can scrounge on their cell phones, games, cigarettes and beer then beg, borrow or steal whatever else strikes their fancy at the moment? What are your thoughts? How and who do we go to in order to change this critical state of affairs?
