Rasmussen, a rising sophomore who graduated from Coeur d’Alene High, was one of 49 student-athletes at the school to earn 2015-16 Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete Award, announced on July 22 by the conference. To be eligible, students must have completed at least two academic terms at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and have participated in varsity competition in a sponsored sport.

Turbin, an infielder and graduate of Coeur d’Alene High, has homered twice in his last 10 games, going 7 for 31 at the plate with four runs scored for the Class A South Atlantic League team in the Baltimore organization.
