| July 27, 2016 9:00 PM

SPOKANE — Luis Terrero homered leading off the bottom of the sixth inning as the Spokane Indians beat the Tri-City Dust Devils 5-4 in Northwest League baseball in front of 4,664 at Avista Stadium on Tuesday.

On the final night of the first half of the season, Spokane won at Boise and Tri-City lost to visiting Hillsboro to give the Indians the first half North Division title after the teams finished the night tied at 19-19.

Relievers Kevin Lenik and Alex Daniele combined to hold Tri-City scoreless for the final five innings. Stephen Lohr hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning for Spokane (20-19), which has won seven of its last 10 games.

Tri-City (19-20) has lost four of its last 10.

The teams continue the three-game series tonight at 6:30.

• Four Spokane Indians were named to the Northwest League roster for the second Northwest League vs. Pioneer League All-Star Game, scheduled for next Tuesday in Ogden, Utah.

Indians pitcher Tyler Ferguson, outfielder Chad Smith, catcher Seth Spivey and third baseman Xavier Turner were selected via vote of NWL media and coaches.

Spivey — who was named a NWL Mid-Season All-Star in 2014 as a second baseman — leads the league with 30 RBI while spending time at catcher, first base, and centerfield. Smith, the youngest hitter in the league at just 18-years-old, is tied for seventh in the league with 20 RBI while former Vanderbilt star Turner has excelled with a .337 batting average and stellar defense at the hot corner. Despite pitching out of the bullpen, the hard-throwing Ferguson ranks fourth in the NWL with 41 strikeouts to go along with a 2.05 ERA.

The All-Star game will take place at Linquist Field — home of the Ogden Raptors. First pitch is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. PDT with a Home Run Derby before the game at 4:15 PDT.

Spokane hosted the inaugural Northwest League vs. Pioneer League All-Star Game at Avista Stadium last year in front of a sellout crowd of 7,083. Indians shortstop Yeyson Yrizzari scored the game-winning run as the NWL topped the Pioneer League 6-5 in extra innings.
