Thursday, the Post Falls School District will be holding this summer's fifth round of negotiations. The meeting will be held Thursday morning at 9 a.m. at the Post Falls High School library and is open to the public.
Negotiations determine how taxpayer money is used for salary increases and benefits for certified employees within the district.
During the last negotiations meeting, the teacher’s union and the district made some headway on benefits, but still need to discuss salaries, according to Becky Ford, the assistant superintendent of the district.
“It is certainly our hope that we come to an agreement this Thursday,” she said.
