Man dies in I-90 crash

A crash on Interstate 90 near milepost 41 near Cataldo on Friday evening left one man dead and a juvenile passenger hospitalized.
According to Idaho State Police, the driver, Lawrence Blackwell, 57, of Missoula, was driving his 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe westbound on I-90 around 6 p.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and hit the center median, rolling across both eastbound lanes and coming to a rest on the shoulder.
Blackwell was pronounced dead at the scene. The juvenile, who's name has not been released, was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane with injuries.
