David Raymond Beseler, 80
David Raymond Beseler, 80, of Coeur d’Alene, passed away July 21, 2016, at Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. He was born June 15, 1936, in Madison Heights, Mich., to Gotfried and Mae Beseler.
David grew up with 14 brothers and sisters. He joined the Army in 1958 and served as a Radar Repairman for three years. It was also in 1958 that David married Jane Williams. Together they had two children and their love and marriage lasted his lifetime.
David then went to work for Boeing as an electrician working on the Minuteman Project installing electronics at missile silos throughout the nation. In 1964, he went to work for Motorola in Phoenix, Ariz., until he retired. His great honor was to be on the Radio Development and Maintenance Team for the NASA Voyager Project. During that time, he spent nine months at the Jet Propulsion in California, then two years at NASA Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Fla.
David was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting. He retired to Coeur d’Alene to be closer to the outdoors he enjoyed. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was always very involved in the churches he attended. He is now enjoying eternity in his heavenly home with his Lord and Savior.
David is survived by his wife, Jane; daughter Cheryl Beseler-Kenyon; son David D. Beseler; four grandchildren: Kendra Morgan, Sean, Kara and Kelli Beseler; his sisters, Elsie Hordos and Dorothy Rathmund; and one brother, Howard Beseler.
Memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hayden, followed by graveside service at 3 p.m. at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery in Medical Lake, Wash.
