George Robert Peck, 78

George Robert Peck, 78, was born Oct. 20, 1937, in Eureka, Calif., to George and Cecil (Van Sant) Peck, and passed away peacefully after a long illness on Monday, July 18, 2016, in Hayden, Idaho.

He owned a welding fabrication business in Santa Rosa, Calif., in the 1970s and ’80s. He enjoyed woodworking, photography, geology, genealogy, cooking and camping. He was a 1956 graduate of Eureka High School in Eureka, Calif., and a member of the Super 1 coffee club in Hayden.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Jill Peck; his son, Brian (Lisa) Peck; grandchildren Caitlin and Brandon Peck; his sister, Betty (Jack) Morton; his brother, David (Celeste) Peck; his stepsons, Ken and Scott Keasey; and his step grandchildren, Chet, Shelby, Lily and Camden Keasey.
