LEGION BASEBALL: Prairie, Lums split

POST FALLS — Dusty Weeks had three RBIs, Matt Lebsock and Jacob Elliott each notched two RBIs and the Prairie Cardinals took the second game 15-5 over the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen in American Legion baseball on Monday at Post Falls High.

Dominic Conigliaro supplied 4 RBIs to lead the Lumberman (11-21, 4-6 North Idaho League) to a split with a 7-6 win in the first game. Lebsock and Corbin Buck each had and RBI for Prairie (13-29, 4-8).

Jared Porter struck out four for Prairie, while Brett Stapleton fanned three for Coeur d’Alene in the opener. Weeks totaled four hits on the night for the Cardinals.

Northern Lakes wins doubleheader

RATHDRUM — Dylan Bradbury had two RBIs, JJ Mackesy, Seth Villanpando and Ryan Pote each added one to lead Northern Lakes to a 9-4 win in the opener of a doubleheader with Premier on Monday at Gorton Field.

Villanpando, along with Pote and Daltron Strong each had an RBIs in the second game, a 7-6 win for Northern Lakes.

Strietzel pitched a scoreless sixth to perserve the win for Northern Lakes (2-11).
