Learn about Japanese culture this Friday

HAYDEN — Japanese culture will be on display and celebrated Friday from 2-4 p.m. during the Japanese Community Cultural Fair at Anthem Friends Church in Hayden.

Japanese students visiting the area will show fairgoers how to make origami, candy sushi and how to use chopsticks. The students will teach visitors how to speak the language and how to write Japanese kanji.

They'll also be demonstrating cultural song, dance and clothing. The Japanese Community Culture Fair is free and open to the public. Anthem Friends Church is located at 251 W. Miles Ave.
