Hit the beach with Cecil to win NIC scholarships

North Idaho College’s premier summer beach party will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. on NIC’s beach where $5,000 worth of scholarships will be up for grabs.
Party-goers will be able to try out NIC’s beach equipment, like stand-up paddle-boards, kayaks, canoes, etc., and compete for prizes in fun games throughout the party. The first 300 guests will receive free barbecue.
Cecil’s Summer Splash is free and for all ages.
At 6:30 p.m., each guest will receive a raffle ticket that has a chance to win one of the five $1,000 scholarships provided by the NIC Foundation.
The $1,000 award will be applied to the balance owed on tuition, fees, books and supplies for the 2016 fall semester and 2017 spring semester. This is not a cash award and the winner must be present to win.
Those who plan to attend NIC and current students are encouraged to enter to win the scholarships. Staff will be available to answer questions about attending NIC.
