Sushi I to open in Riverstone
Three chefs with 20 years experience in Miami, New York and California will be the base of Sushi I when it opens this week south of Regal Cinema in Riverstone.
The full-service, Japanese cuisine menu will offer appetizers, main dishes, many sides, desserts and beverages including wine, beer and sake.
The main dishes will be served in large wooden love boats. Ah, in Japanese, “I” in the name Sushi I means “love.”
The place seats 42 at tables, 12 at the bar overlooking the kitchen and eight outside. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Owner is Jay Shin; manager is Eunjun Moss. The restaurant is moving after five years in its South Hill location in Spokane. Phone 661-8670.
