| July 15, 2016 12:16 PM

A woman was injured in Stateline this morning when she exited a moving vehicle driven by a man being pursued by sheriff’s deputies.

The man reportedly driving the vehicle, Arthur J. Harp, was identified at State Line Liquor Store as a wanted person with felony warrants out of Idaho and Washington.

Harp remains on the run after fleeing from the deputies who located him in a car in the liquor store parking lot with the woman who was a passenger.

When the woman stepped from the moving vehicle, the deputies stopped pursuing Harp and rendered aid until medical units arrived on scene.

Witnesses advised Harp continued to drive recklessly eastbound on Seltice Way.

The vehicle involved in the incident was located abandoned approximately 3 miles away at the west end of Riverbend Avenue.

A Kootenai County K9 unit responded and a track for Harp was conducted. Harp was not located at that time and is still at large.

The female passenger is in stable condition.

If you have information on Harp’s location, please contact the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office: 208-446-1300

Charges for felony eluding and grand theft were forwarded to the Kootenai County Prosecutor.
