SPOKANE — Gio Brusa, Zack Bowers and Bryan Reynolds each hit two-run home runs, helping the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes power past the Spokane Indians 12-4 in Northwest League baseball in front of 4,611 at Avista Stadium on Thursday.
Brusa homered in the first, Bowers in the second and Reynolds in the third for Salem-Keizer (13-15) on its way to pounding out 21 hits in the game.
Luis Terrero hit a solo home run in the first inning for Spokane (12-16), and also hit a two-run single in the second.
The teams resume the series tonight at 7:15.
