Turbin, a Coeur d’Alene High standout, is batting .233 (49 for 210) with 24 runs scored for the Shorebirds, a Class A South Atlantic League team in the Baltimore Orioles organization. In his last 10 games, Turbin has homered twice — on back-to-back nights — with five RBIs and five runs scored.
