<p>Courtesy photo</p><p>The North Idaho Elite high school girls club basketball team won their elite division bracket at the prestigious End of the Trail Tournament in Oregon City, Ore., last weekend, placing them in the top four out of 128 teams. The Elite beat EJ Hoops, Kalakaua Wahine, Cal Stars Nike Flight and Northside Swarm to win the bracket. The Elite then lost to the eventual overall champions, Cal Stars Nike Elite EYBL. 3-on-3 tourney set: The 3v3 Live Soccer Tour stops in Hayden next month for a tourney on the outdoor fields at The Dome Idaho in Hayden.

The tourney, scheduled for Aug. 20, is for ages 6-adult.

West Valley 5, Coeur d’Alene 1: Carter Friesz and Benji White each had two hits for the Lumbermen in the game at West Valley High.

July 8

West Valley 10, Coeur d’Alene 6: Quinton Bunch and Colt Rowley had three hits each for the Lums in the game at Thorco Field.
