LEGION BASEBALL: Lums fall in tourney finale
CENTRALIA, Wash. — The Seattle Tide defeated the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen 3-0 on Sunday in their final game of the Greater Seattle League Showcase at the Borst Park Sports Complex.
Coeur d’Alene (8-17) finished 1-2 on the tourney.
On Saturday night, the Lums led the Walla Walla Sweets 1-0 after one inning when that game was called due to rain. In the top of the first, Zach Sensel reached on a fielder’s choice, advanced to third on a double by Dominic Conigliaro, and scored on a wild pitch for Coeur d’Alene.
Coeur d’Alene plays host to Lewiston on Tuesday in a class AA North Idaho League doubleheader at 5 p.m. at Thorco Field.
