The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office received 764 calls for service between 6 a.m. Friday, July 1, and 5:59 a.m. Wednesday, July 6.
Burglaries and Thefts:
• Two suitcases and a sleeping bag were reported stolen from a business in the 36300 block of South Highway 97 in Harrison. The items are valued at $900.
• A padlock and jewelry were reported stolen from a business in the area of South Highway 97 and Asbury road in Harrison. The items are valued at $80.
• Money, in the amount of $400, was reported stolen in the 100 block of West Prairie Avenue in Hayden.
• Checks, in the amount of $20, were reported stolen in the 2100 block of North Ridegeview Drive in Post Falls.
• About $2 worth of batteries were reported stolen from Super One in Hayden.
• A Samsung cellphone was reported stolen at Silverwood Theme Park in Athol. The phone is valued at $700.
• A 1991 Chrysler New Yorker was reported stolen in the 8400 block of North Howell Road in Post Falls. The vehicle is valued at $1,000.
• A financial transaction card number was reportedly stolen from the 1400 block of North Maverick Lane in Post Falls and used to open an account in the amount of $149.
• A $20 padlock was reported stolen in the area of South Highway 97 and Asbury Road in Harrison.
• A wallet, financial transaction card and driver's license, valued at $106, were reported
stolen at the Coeur d’Alene Casino in Worley.
• Two firearms were reported stolen in the 900 block of Tinsmith Lane in Post Falls. The firearms are valued at $720.
Malicious Injury to Property:
• A sign, wire and fence were damaged in the 4600 block of South Stach Road in Coeur d’Alene. The damaged items are valued at $520 and a sign, valued at $20, was reported stolen.
• A vehicle window was damaged in the 4500 block of West Ferrel Road in Coeur d’Alene. The window is valued at $300.
• A vehicle window was damaged in the 3300 block of East Wishful Trail in Athol. The window is valued at $100.
Other:
• Harrassing telephone calls were reported at the Coeur d’Alene Casino in Worley.
• A 46-year-old woman was reportedly involved in an incident of domestic battery in the presence of a child (arrest or citation not specified) in the area of East Frontage Road in Couer d’Alene.
• A 48-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and destruction of evidence in the area of East Seltice Way and North Cedar Street in Post Falls.
• Two juveniles (arrest or citations not specified) were reportedly in possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and destruction of evidence in the 7200 block of West Seltice Way in Post Falls.
• Telephone harrassment was reported in the 600 block of South Gallatin Road in Post Falls.
• A 54-year-old man was arrested for aggravated assault with a knife in the 19100 block of South Highway 97 in Harrison.
• A 26-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and providing false information to law enforcement in the area of West Dower Avenue and South Highway 95 in Coeur d’Alene.
• An incident of battery was reported in the 34100 block of North Pend Orielle Pine Drive in Bayview.
• A 29-year-old man and 31-year-old woman were arrested for trafficking marijuana, possession of controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of unlawful firearm and injury to child in the area of East Third Avenue and North Spokane Street in Post Falls.
• A 59-year-old man was arrested for battery and possession of prescription pills without a prescription at the Coeur d’Alene Casino in Worley.
• A 42-year-old man was arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child in the area of West Spuler Lane in Hauser Lake.
• A 23-year-old man was arrested for resisting/obstructing law enforcement in the 34100 block of North Marietta Road in Bayview.
• A 34-year-old was arrested for domestic battery in the presence of a child in the 27800 block of North Highway 95.
• A 54-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and concealment of evidence in the 7200 block of West Seltice Way in Post Falls.
• A 22-year-old man was arrested for assault in the 34100 block of North Marietta Road in Bayview.
• A 36-year-old man was arrested for reckless driving and assault in the area of West Hayden Avenue and North Meyer Road in Post Falls.
• A 65-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia, and a 33-year-old woman was cited for possession of paraphernalia and frequenting a place where drugs are used in the area of South Highway 95 and West Conklin Road in Worley.
• A 23-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and theft (stolen/recovered merchandise $15) at Super One in Hayden.
• Violation of a no-contact order was reported in the 22800 block of West Highway 53 in Post Falls.
• A stolen vehicle (1989 Toyota Landcruiser) was recovered in the 9200 block of South Highway 95 in Coeur d’Alene.
• An incident of aggravated assault and battery was reported in the 400 block of South Rabbit Trail in Post Falls.
• An incident of battery was reported in the 3100 block of West Diagonal Road in Rathdrum.
• A 30-year-old man was cited for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, driving without privileges and failure to provide proof of insurance in the area of North Ross Point Road and East Seltice Way in Post Falls.
• A 27-year-old was arrested for aggravated assault and malicious injury to property in the area of West Prairie Avenue and North Highway 95 in Coeur d’Alene.
