Crime task force seeks Anthony Thompson

The North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking information leading to the apprehension of Anthony Kirk Thompson.

Thompson is being sought based on a Spokane County felony warrant charging him with a felony probation violation (escape community custody). He is on felony parole and probation for burglary charges and considered a violent offender. This is a no-bond warrant with Oregon, Idaho and Washington extradition.

Thompson, 37, is a white male, 6-feet 1-inch tall, weighing 241 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Thompson was last known to be living in Post Falls or Spokane.

The task force — consisting of members of the FBI, Idaho State Police, Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, Coeur d’Alene Police Department, Post Falls Police Department, Idaho Department of Correction and Bonner County Sheriff’s Office — is tasked with locating and apprehending violent fugitives charged with such crimes as homicide, bank robbery, robbery, kidnapping, rape / sexual assault, felonious assault, arson, drug trafficking, etc.
