Idaho District 1 tournaments
• AGE 9-10
At Canfield Middle School
Coeur d’Alene Black 14, Lewiston White 1: Chase Unders hit three doubles and drove in three runs for Coeur d’Alene, and Avery Cherry went 4 for 4.
Sandpoint 23, Lewiston Purple 4: Shane Sherrill went 3 for 3 with a home run for Sandpoint. Koby Barlow and Jeff Longennecker each went 3 for 3, and Andrew Lehman and Graham Dunkel both went 2 for 3.
At Lions Field, Rathdrum
Hayden 20, Post Falls 5: Gunner Larson hit an inside-the-park homer in the sixth inning for Hayden. Teammate Charlie Dixon also homered in the six, after fouling off five pitches with two strikes. Caleb Jimmeison hit an inside-the-park homer for Post Falls.
• MAJORS (age 11-12)
At Canfield Middle School
Lewiston 13, Sandpoint 4: Cruz Hepburn went 3 for 3 with a three-run homer for Lewiston. Wyatt Lopez was 3 for 4 with two RBIs, and Quinton Eamon and Dante Edminson each went 2 for 4 in the win.
At Knutson Field, Rathdrum
Lakeland 5, Post Falls 4: Ethan Miller homered and tripled for Post Falls.
• AGE 10-11
At Canfield Middle School
Coeur d’Alene 12, Lewiston 3: Zack Johnson hit a three-run home run for Coeur d’Alene. Cam Harris hit a three-run double, and Cruz Rodenbaugh added a two-run double in the win. For Lewiston, Jordan Tinney hit a two-run homer.
At Knutson Field, Rathdrum
Hayden 13, Post Falls 0, 4 inn.: Romynn Schaffner hit a two-run double for Hayden, and Bryce Hall struck out seven.
