ANNIVERSARIES
Cleve and Judy Chatterton
50th Anniversary
Cleve and Judy Chatterton were married at the Seventeenth LDS Chapel in Pocatello on Jan. 29, 1966. Cleve is retired from the U.S. Forest Service where he was the assistant nurseryman. Judy retired from Dalton Elementary where she taught as a teacher’s aide in the Special Education Program. They have both been active throughout their marriage with church organizations and scouting.
They have three children: Craig (Barbara) of Boise, Alan (Susan) of Rathdrum and Brian (Heather) of Post Falls. They are blessed with eight grandchildren: Bradley, Kristel, Alyson, Teagan, Austin, Annika, Dillon and Hunter.
The family will celebrate this special occasion with a surprise dinner at Wolf Lodge. Many extended family and friends wish to send congratulations on this Golden Wedding Anniversary!
Grace and Steve Brixen
50th Anniversary
Grace and Steve Brixen, of Sandpoint, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July 2015 with a family reunion in Lahaina, Maui.
The couple’s children and grandchildren celebrated with them: Jennifer and Alan Squires, their daughters Reese and Paige of Portland, Ore., and Scott and Nori Brixen, their sons Tai, Logan, Kiva and Drake of Bangkok, Thailand.
The couple were married on July 18, 1965, in Sandpoint.
WEDDING
Derek and Ashton Schneidmiller
Ashton Langson and Derek John Schneidmiller, of Coeur d’Alene, were united in marriage on Sept. 19, 2015, at the Hayden Lake Country Club in Hayden Lake. Pastor Gail Gutterud officiated the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She is the daughter of Rob and Ninette Goucher of Hayden. Derek is the son of Kevin and Susan Schneidmiller of Post Falls.
Ashton graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 2009 and the University of Idaho in 2015. She is an accountant in tax services at Magnuson, McHugh, & Co. Derek graduated from Post Falls High School in 2006 and Washington State University in 2010. He is a grain merchandiser at CHS Primeland.
The wedding party included maid of honor Stephanie Grimm of Coeur d’Alene; bridesmaids Kendall-Anne Goucher of Hayden, Emily Hodgson of Post Falls, Madison Nolan of Reno, Nev., Allison Cowan of Carson City, Nev., and Jamie Dunn of Richland, Wash.; flower girl Mackenzie Mickelson of Post Falls; best man Matthew Schneidmiller of Spokane Valley; and groomsmen Lucas Schneidmiller of Spokane, Drew Hodgson of Post Falls, Trace Goucher of Hayden, Nick Dreckman of Post Falls and Jordan Mickelson of Post Falls.
The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.
ENGAGEMENTS
Cook-Bjorkman
Dennis and LaVonne Cook are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katrina Diane Cook to Scott Andrew Bjorkman, son of Jeff and Virginia Bjorkman.
Katrina graduated from Timberlake High School in 2008 and went on to receive her Associate of Arts degree in general studies and Associate of Arts degree in history from North Idaho College. She currently works as a senior legal secretary.
Scott graduated from Lake City High School in 2004 and studied graphic design at North Idaho College. He currently works as a roof installation engineer.
Scott and Katrina will be wed Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Riverside Place in Spokane. Scott and Katrina are looking forward to a long and wonderful life together full of love and laughter.
Goodson-Wheeler
Daphne Goodson and Jennifer Goodson are very happy to announce the engagement of their daughter/granddaughter Chloe Elizabeth Goodson to Jordan Lewis Wheeler. Jordan is the son of Jeff and Kathleen Wheeler of Coeur d’Alene.
Chloe works for US Bank and Jordan works for Kenny Construction.
The wedding will be held in April 2016 at the White House in Coeur d’Alene.

Helen Jane Mueller
100th Birthday
Helen Jane Mueller turned 100 years old on Jan. 21, 2016. She has lived for about 80 years in St. Maries, where her daughter and her twin brother were born. She was born on Jan. 21, 1916. Her family celebrated her birthday on Jan. 23, 2016, in St. Maries, with about 50 local relatives. The photo is the latest fifth generation great-great-granddaughter Stephanie Lewis, great-granddaughter Erika Lewis and granddaughter Michele Dirks, all of Coeur d’Alene; daughter Alverna Thomas of Moscow and Helen Mueller. There are a total of six great-great-granddaughters.
