Debra Kay DeBernardi, 64
Mrs. Debra Kay DeBernardi (Wanner), of Spirit Lake, Idaho, passed away from Mantle Cell Non-Hodgins Lymphoma on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at the age of 64.
Debra was born to parents, Arthur and Lydia Wanner on Aug. 1, 1951, in Kellogg, Idaho. She grew up in Coeur d’Alene and graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1970. She attended North Idaho College to become a registered nurse.
She married the love of her life and soul mate, John DeBernardi, in April 1982. They have three children. Debra retired from nursing in December 2014.
Debra is survived by her husband, John DeBernardi of Spirit Lake; her daughter, Shannon (William) Clifford of Rathdrum, Idaho; her daughter, Teresa (Rich) Edelblute of Twin Lakes, Idaho; her son, Michael (Autumn) DeBernardi of Seeley Lake, Mont.; her sisters, Jeanie (Wilfred) Mahaffy and Karen (Roger) Nelson; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Wanner.
She chose to be cremated at Yates Funeral Home. We will have a private celebration of her life for family and friends. The family is grateful for the condolences, but decline flowers.
