PREP WRESTLING: Lakeland captures own tourney

RATHDRUM — Sam Edelblute (98 pounds), Will Edelblute (106), Larry Johnson (126), Tyler Siegford (132), Jared Walker (170) and Antonio Brown (220) claimed individual championships for Lakeland, helping the Hawks distance the field to win a team title at the second Van Tuinstra Memorial tournament on Saturday at Lakeland High.
“The kids wrestled tough,” Lakeland coach Rob Edelblute said. “Everybody on our team wrestled tough and got some good matches. It was a good midseason tournament for us.”
Lakeland won the team title with 228.5 points, with Moscow finishing second with 166.5 and Kellogg third with 128.5.
