Dorothy (Dottie) Cook, 74

Dorothy (Dottie) Cook passed away Jan. 20, 2016, from cancer at home surrounded by her loving children. She was born March 6, 1941, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Everyone that ever met her was happier than they were before. She was raised in Coeur d’Alene, spent several years traveling throughout the Northwest, but home was always Post Falls. Many people might remember her as a local bartender from various watering holes in Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene, but what she wanted most to be remembered as was a good mother.

Dottie was preceded in death by the father of her children, Bobbie Mullen; second husband James Cook and her first born son, Randy Mullen. She is survived by one sister; her loving children, Joyce Mullen Wilson, Judy Bratcher and Bruce Mullen; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Dorothy’s request was that no services be held. Her final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls, Idaho.
