2016 Rotary Grant applications available now, deadline March 1

COEUR d'ALENE — The 2016 Rotary Grant application is now available on the Rotary website.

The grants are available under three different categories this year: Youth, Community Service and Civic Improvement. All information and details needed to complete the application is found on the Rotary website under the heading "2016 Grant Application" with additional notes on filling out the application from a previous year workshop under "Rotary Grant Workshop Notes" at the bottom of the page.

In the last five years, the Rotary Club of Coeur d'Alene and Foundation have awarded $368,305 in community and international grants. Last year, 24 organizations received more than $60,000 in grants and an additional $14,000 was awarded to area youths for college scholarships.

The submission deadline is March 1. The funds will be distributed in May.
