Hospice hires Johnson

Hospice of North Idaho is excited to announce the addition of Sandy Johnson, community outreach coordinator, to its team of dedicated staff.

Johnson served as a volunteer at Hospice of North Idaho’s Hospice House prior to her employment, and has volunteered with organizations like NOSDA (No One Shall Die Alone), United Way, American Cancer Society, and Lake City Church Food Bank.

“I’ve experienced firsthand the compassion that Hospice of North Idaho shows patients and their loved ones,” said Johnson. “I’m thrilled to be able to use my talents and skills to help the seriously ill in our community.”

At Hospice of North Idaho, a nonprofit hospice that has served the community for nearly 30 years, Johnson will be building relationships in the community and helping the organization spread the word about its services and programs that are available to the entire community.

“Sandy brings much passion, knowledge, and energy to Hospice of North Idaho. She is a great fit for the position and we are very excited to have her on board,” said Executive Director Kim Ransier.

Prior to working for Hospice of North Idaho, Johnson worked in development for the Salvation Army Kroc Center. Johnson has lived in North Idaho for 22 years, and lives with her husband, Pete, in Hayden. She enjoys traveling, being active in her church and spending time with family.
