| January 18, 2016 8:00 PM

Coeur d’Alene High has dominated the Ron TerHark Cup, the annual wrestling dual between the city’s two high school wrestling programs, for the last decade-plus.

Lake City nearly broke through last year, trailing by two points heading into the last match, before a pin clinched it for Coeur d’Alene.

This year’s Terhark Cup, the 21st annual, is scheduled for Friday at 6:15 p.m. at Coeur d’Alene High.

Coeur d’Alene has won the TerHark Cup 13 straight times, and 14 times in the 20 meetings overall. Lake City last won the Terhark Cup in 2002.

On Saturday, Post Falls’ boys and girls play host to Lewiston. The Bengal boys are 7-6, 1-0; the Bengal girls are (11-5, 1-2).
