Tina Janell Williams, 47
Tina Janell Williams, our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, died unexpectedly on Jan. 2, 2016. Tina was born on Feb. 10, 1968, to Gloria Wallace and Paul Williams in Visalia, Calif.
She lived in Southern California until she was 25 years old, and spent her adolescence snorkeling in Oceanside, Calif. She became fascinated with marine life while searching the tide pools for starfish and hermit crabs. Tina also developed a love for animals; and on her walks home from the beach she would often pick up and bring home stray animals that needed love. When she was 3, her grandfather John Prentice, introduced her to horses; she competed in Gymkhana barrel racing competitions and placed No. 1 in the state for three years. Tina and her horse, Popcorn, were a force to be reckoned with! She often rode Popcorn through town to the Tulare River where you could find them swimming under the scorching California sun.
Tina loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. One of the last presents she gave her daughter, Brittany, was a heart-shaped piece of stained-glass that read: “‘Trust the Lord with all your heart…’ Proverbs 3:5”
She had beautiful red hair, and a sweet smile, and was known for her generosity and kindness, and her loving, caring nature.
Tina was a devoted daughter who took care of her mother (and best friend) Gloria Wallace for seven years before she passed in 2013. She was also a loving, caring, wonderful, and sweet mother and grandmother herself. She will be terribly missed. However, there is comfort knowing she is in the arms of the Lord. We love you Mom!
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Wallace.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Fulker; daughters Brittany Brewer (age 24) and Kianna Cornett (age 9); as well as grandsons Kaleb Brewer (age 6) and Tristan Brewer (age 5).
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at New Life Community Church, 6068 W. Hayden Ave., Rathdrum.
