Marjorie Jessick, 89
Our beautiful mom, Marjorie Jessick, passed away Jan. 4, 2016. She was born on Sept. 6, 1926, in Denver, Colo., to Charles and Myrtle Graves. She grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and graduated high school from there. In 1962, she and her husband Nicholas Dyer moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with their children.
She married Joseph Jessick in 1976; they were happily married for 27 years.
Marjorie enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers. She was a great seamstress; known for the aprons she made everyone. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, what she enjoyed most was talking to people about the Bible. She had pioneered for 29 years; it was this work that she truly loved.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jessick; her parents, Charles and Myrtle Graves; and three brothers George, Charles and Ron Graves.
Marjorie is survived by brother Donald (Patricia) Graves of Yuma, Ariz.; daughters Linda (Dave) Hopkins of Colville, Wash., Bobette Bisher of Coeur d’Alene and Tawnya (Mark) Dyer of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons Nicholas Dyer of Coeur d’Alene and Lanny Dyer of Idaho; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Marjorie was a very compassionate and caring person, who was loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Marjorie’s family would like to thank all of her friends and family, and extend a special thanks to Hospice of North Idaho for their compassionate care of Mom.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 8500 N. Ramsey Road, Hayden Lake.
