WRESTLING
Team Real Life wrestlers were among over 800 others who traveled to Farmington, Utah, to participate in the USA Wrestling Folkstyle Tour of America event “The Salt Lake Slam.” The event was held at the Legacy Events Center in Farmington on Jan. 1-2, 2016.
Byson Huber, a 60-lb Bantam, placed 4th for Team Real Life and Connor Larsen, a 136 lb. middle schooler, placed 6th.
SOCCER
Indoor tourney nears: The Dome in Hayden will be the site of a 3-on-3 soccer tournament dubbed 3v3 Live.
The tourney is open to male and female teams from the under-6 age group through adult.
Each team may have up to six players.
The top four teams in each division qualify to play in the 3v3 Live regional championship tournament, where teams can qualify for the 3v3 world championship at Disney World.
Early registration deadline is Jan. 13. Cost is $170 per team.
