Lou Smith, 94

March 19, 1921 — Jan. 3, 2016

Lulu (Lou) Mae Smith was born March 19, 1921, in Killdeer, N.D., to Webster and Anna Clement and passed away quietly Jan. 3, 2016, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses since Jan. 11, 1953. Lou was active as a full-time minister and that remained her singular focus until her death at age 94.

Lou is survived by children, David (Paula), Janey (Ralph) and Shelley (Rick); eight grandchildren, Lauren (Steve) Perez, Kaley (Arshid), Dane Smith, Seth (Kimiyo), Cody (Jen) Lincoln, Leif Engberg, Joel Enberg and Skyler (Erika) Locatelli; three great-grandchildren, Callan and Declan Lincoln, and Jackson Perez; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
