Thompson to chair Boy Scouts leadership breakfast

Boy Scouts of America’s Inland Northwest Council announced that Jim Thompson publisher of The Press, is the chairman of the organization’s 2016 Coeur d’Alene Leadership Breakfast.

“The Coeur d’Alene Leadership Breakfast is our largest and most important fundraising event for the Kootenai County/Old Missions District area,” stated the organization’s announcement.

The event will take place Feb. 18 at 7:30 a.m. at The Coeur d’Alene Resort. Reservations are required and guests are invited to support scouting through the Friends of Scouting campaign. For additional information, visit www.nwscouts.org

Ruen-Yeager and Associates names Adair assistant planner

Lisa Adair is the new assistant planner for Ruen-Yeager and Associates in Sandpoint.

Adair is a graduate of Eastern Washington University and has experience in rural and urban planning, GIS mapping and surveying.

Ruen-Yeager and Associates offers professional land use planning services to private and public clients, as well as contract planning services to municipal clients within the region.

The company has 28 employees that provide the land use planning, engineering, and surveying services from its Sandpoint and Coeur d’Alene offices.

Midway Automotive Group serves counties in North Idaho and eastern Washington. They will offer the full range of Tige models and provide full servicing facilities to local Tige owners.
