SENIORS: Tales of contrast

Monday, Dec 28 and Tuesday, Dec. 29 had front page articles on senior citizens. But that is all they had in common.

Mr. Agre of Post Falls is being evicted from his trailer space of 15 years, without even a reason. What a sad story of how a senior in our community is being treated. Shame on you Mr. Gilman!

And then the other story about veteran James Brummett believing that because he is a veteran, he is above the law. I say shame on you for thinking this. And while I will thank you for your service, this does not give you special rights. The officer was right for citing you, so buck up and either pay your fine, or do your time! Period.
