CUTS: Here's where they hurt

The State of Idaho is refusing to reform Medicaid because they don’t like Obama’s Affordable Care Act. As a result of the cuts they will be making, my grandson will be affected, along with other adults who have had disabilities since childhood. Among services being affected is psychological care by professionals. Also I’ve been told that the company that provides him with a home and professional staff will have a pay cut of 40%. Of course that means they won’t be able to operate. And the State of Idaho has already started closing down the psychiatric hospitals.

My grandson is 30 years old. He was born with Autism and then developed bi-polar and schizophrenic disorders when he was almost 19. Without proper care, people around him would not always be safe. The voices tell him to do some very bad things. I tried sending the governor an email but his email website doesn’t work. I called and left my number so maybe someone from his office will call. Just thought I’d let you know what’s happening.
