Charlotte Rachael Myers, 76

Charlotte Rachael Myers, 76, was born to Richard and Josephine Couture on April 25, 1939, in Tacoma, Wash. She went home to the Lord on Dec. 29, 2015, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Charlotte married Donald Myers on June 19, 1958, together they shared 57 wonderful, loving years together.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Myers of Coeur d'Alene; two sons and daughters-in-law Marvin and Janice Myers of Post Falls, and Michael and Jandene Myers of Hayden; she was blessed with five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, whom she adored; she is also survived by one brother Tim. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Phil and Ted; and her sister Babe. Charlotte loved the Lord and was always there to say a prayer to anyone in need. She gave Godly advice to anyone who would listen, and raised her family under God's authority; never settling for anything less than what was right. She will be forever missed, and her examples of faith, and love for God and her family will be the standard for all of us to share with our loved ones. A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 4, at English Funeral Chapel, 1133 N. Fourth St. in Coeur d'Alene. A funeral service will follow the visitation, and will begin at 11 a.m., also at English Funeral Chapel. She will be laid to rest at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Wash. English Funeral Chapel of Coeur d'Alene has been entrusted to handle final arrangements.
