NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING On the 15th day of March 2016, at 5:00 o'clock p.m. at City of Hayden Lake City Hall, 9393 N. Strahorn Road, Hayden Lake, Idaho 83835, a hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Hayden Lake for the purpose of hearing public comments regarding revised fees and to explain the reasons for such action. The subject fees are for building permit extensions. The proposed amount of the fee is fifty percent (50%) of the original building permit fee for each extension, with the potential for a prorated refund based on when a certificate of occupancy is issued or a final inspection is performed in relation to the one hundred and eighty (180) day extension period. The current fee for building permit extensions is $200.00 for the first extension, with an additional fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the original building permit fee for each additional extension with no provision for a refund. No later than 4:00 p.m. on the date of the hearing, any person may file with the City Clerk of the City of Hayden Lake, 9393 N. Strahorn Road, Hayden Lake, Idaho 83835, written testimony for inclusion in the record at the hearing. Such testimony must contain the interested party's name and address, a general description of the property owned by him/her, and the reasons for the testimony.
