Cd'A Rotary Club to host St. Patrick's Day fundraiser
There will be plenty of Irish music, dancing and green beer to go around at the "Coeur d'Irish" St. Patrick's Day party, hosted by the Coeur d'Alene Rotary Club.
The party, which replaces the Rotary Club's auction and dinner typically held later in the spring, will begin at 5:30 p.m. March 17 at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.
A traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage will be featured, along with Irish stew and soda bread. Irish dessert cocktails and Irish whiskey tasting will be highlighted as well. A brief live auction will be held during the evening.
A fiddle and guitar duo will begin the evening's performances, followed by the Lake City Highland Dancers and Coeur d'Alene Bag Pipers.
Funds raised will go toward community service projects, grants and international service projects supported by the Rotary Club.
Tickets are $35 and include dinner and entertainment. Sponsorship tables may be reserved for $1,000 and include seating for eight, green beer, recognition and advertising at the event. The Coeur d'Alene Resort is offering accommodations at a discounted rate for guests of the event.
