Cathleen Hobbs, 64

Cathleen Hobbs, 64, of Hayden, Idaho, peacefully lost her battle to cancer on Feb. 22, 2016, at Hospice House of North Idaho. She was born Nov. 30, 1951, in San Francisco, Calif. Born, raised and educated in San Francisco, she spent most of her life in California, and moved to North Idaho in 1992.

She met and married Brett Hobbs in June 2000. She enjoyed a long career in food service, most recently at Fred Meyer. In her spare time, she loved to ride on the motorcycle with her husband, Brett, in beautiful North Idaho, and enjoyed time spent with her beloved dog, Billy Bob.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Emma Hinds and grandfather Peter Wegele. She is survived by her husband, Brett Hobbs; daughters Michelle Lynn (Daly) Nelson and Christine Caballero; parents Lee and Bob Ray, and paternal father William Patrick Daly; brother Robert Fowler; sister Nancy Daly; grandchildren Marissa and Madison; cousins Patty Tavaras, Carol Ramer, David Ramer and Alicia Rasmussen; and the Leonard and Marion step families.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Coeur d’Alene with Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene, in care of arrangements.
