The approximately 112-foot long by 60-foot wide portion of right-of-way was dedicated with the 1St Addition to Coolin, as recorded in Book 1 of Plats, Page 110. The petition requests the abandonment because this section of right-of-way is too steep and cannot be constructed to county road standards. The petition requests the right-of-way be vested (deeded) to the adjoining property owners. The Bonner County Commissioners at the public hearing on January 7, 2016, directed planning staff to obtain additional information on the value of the subject portion of right-of-way.
