Litalien, a 5-foot-7 junior guard from Post Falls High, scored a career-high 18 points, including half of the Warriors’ 10 3-pointers in a 84-67 win against Montana Tech on Feb. 13 in Butte, Mont. The win was the 13th in 14 games for the Warriors, and gives the team a three-game lead in conference with four games to play. “This was a perfect example of a team win,” Lewis-Clark State coach Brian Orr said. “Offensively, we wanted to get the ball inside and we were able to do that effectively all night and our attack the rim mentality led to some open 3s, and both Brooke and Megan (Risinger) shot it well tonight.”

Bayley, a sophomore from Lakeland High in Rathdrum, is tied for 16th in the John A. Burns Intercollegiate tournament with a even-par 72 after the first round at the Wallua Golf Course in Lihue, Hawaii.

Wardell, a senior from Post Falls High, finished 12th in the men’s shot put at the Husky Indoor Classic in Seattle, throwing for a season-best 53 feet, 4.5 inches.

Stangel, a junior pitcher/infielder from Lake City High, is batting .500 (7 of 14) with three doubles, one home run and five runs batted in for the Huskies (5-0), who are ranked 10th in the NCAA polls entering this weekend.

Rasmussen, a freshman infielder from Coeur d’Alene High, hit a stand-up leadoff double down the right field line in her first collegiate at-bat for the Rebels (4-2) in an 11-1 win over Utah Valley on Sunday in Las Vegas.

Shippy, a sophomore infielder from Lake City High, has two doubles and two stolen bases for the Cowgirls (2-3) this season, with a two hits coming against Texas State on Saturday.

Scott, a 6-0 sophomore guard from Timberlake High, scored a season-high 20 points against Westmont (Calif.) on Feb. 2, making 8 of 11 shots and 4 of 5 from beyond the 3-point line.
